Message from Victor Antonovich Sadovnichy - Rector of Lomonosov Moscow State University
University science and education has always been responsive to the challenges of the time.
Radical changes in the life of the country at the end of the twentieth century put the Moscow University within the need of maintaining a high level of classical university education in the new environment. Recently, MSU has created several faculties for training in the newest areas of science and society.
In June 2006 the Academic Council of the Moscow State University has decided to establish a new Faculty - Higher School of Management and Innovation (Corporate University) - jointly with JSFC "Sistema".
The project aims at the realization of two major goals:
preservation and development of science and education with the full support of the major domestic business; development of the Russian economy based on in-depth fundamental knowledge.
I am sure that the Faculty will be effective and will be recognized by Russian and foreign colleagues, and that JSFC "Sistema" will be proud of its graduates.
